There's no place like home for Ida, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Jefferson Bears  a   10-0 shutout  on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bluestreaks, who have now won three contests by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Lilah Derian made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Jessica Schrader and  Alli Schrader did most of the damage at the plate:  Jessica  went 1-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI, while  Alli  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs and two  RBI.  Karlee Walentowski was another key player,  getting on base  in both of her plate appearances with two  runs.
 Ida  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They are 2-1 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.

The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.8 runs over those games.  Coming up, Ida will head out on the road to  square off against  Hudson  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will be playing at home against Riverview  at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
