The Kingsway Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Loudonville on the road and fell 69-23. Kingsway Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-8.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matthew Maxheimer, who scored 7 points.
Kingsway Christian has fallen quite a ways from their 28-12 record last season and are now at 1-4. As for Loudonville, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingsway Christian will take on Gospel Haven Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gospel Haven Academy and Kingsway Christian are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Loudonville, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mansfield Christian at 7:30 p.m.
