Tappan Zee is a perfect 3-0 against Ardsley since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Tappan Zee Dutchmen will square off against the Ardsley Panthers at 12:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Tappan Zee earned a 55-44 win over Nanuet. The victory continues a trend for the Dutchmen in their matchups with the Golden Knights: they've now won seven in a row.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Ardsley took down Edgemont 53-39. Ardsley pushed the score to 46-24 by the end of the third, a deficit Edgemont cut but never quite recovered from.

Tappan Zee better keep an eye on Iva Corluka. She was instrumental in Ardsley's win, going 7-for-10 on her way to 14 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Corluka is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 47% in the last eight games she's played. Another player making a difference was Joie M. Levy, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 10 points.

Ardsley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive games.

Ardsley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points over those games. As for Tappan Zee, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.

Tappan Zee beat Ardsley 53-41 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Corluka, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 16 rebounds.
