Pardeeville got themselves on the board against Montello on Thursday, but Montello never followed suit. They blew past the Hilltoppers 10-0. Considering the Bulldogs have won five contests by more than nine  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
Not much got past  Caleb Mackey, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up six Ks to keep Montello off the board. Mackey has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Logan Young was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Pardeeville is undefeated when  Young posts two or  more  runs, but 2-4 otherwise.  Eli Achterberg was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Pardeeville  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in seven consecutive  games.
Pardeeville has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Montello,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-4.
