Fredericksburg's and Long Creek's contest on Friday was close at halftime, but Fredericksburg turned on the heat in the second half with 32 points. Everything went the Fredericksburg Billies' way against the Long Creek Dragons as the Fredericksburg Billies made off with a 53-29 victory. The Billies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Fredericksburg pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Long Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredericksburg will host Gonzales at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
