The Aberdeen Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Elkton Golden Elks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Aberdeen's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games.
Even though Joppatowne scored an imposing 70 points on Wednesday, Aberdeen still came out on top. Aberdeen walked away with a 77-70 victory over the Mariners.
Aberdeen got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was DARION PARRIS out in front who scored 28 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. PARRIS is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was JOMAR CAMACHO, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Elkton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 73-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of Havre de Grace. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Aberdeen's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-9. As for Elkton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Aberdeen lost to the Golden Elks on the road by a decisive 79-61 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Aberdeen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
