On Saturday, Paxton came up short against Luverne and fell 47-40.
Loss or not, Paxton got some senior leadership from Sawyer Adams who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds and Collin Stewart who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds.
Paxton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Luverne, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Paxton will take on Laurel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Luverne, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against McKenzie at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in McKenzie's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
