While Plainwell's  win against Galesburg-Augusta wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-5 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Taya Miller and  Sophie Munch did most of the damage at the plate:  Miller  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double, while  Munch  went 2-for-5 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. That  triple was  Miller's first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Heidi Ragainis, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
 Plainwell was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .450. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  batting average total in five consecutive  contests.
Plainwell's win bumped their record up to 10-24. As for Galesburg-Augusta, their defeat was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 3-15.
