 In other batting news,  Gavin Chuy was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.  Isamel Dominguez was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Cobre has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record  this season. As for Hatch Valley, they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-13.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cobre will  square off against Socorro at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Socorro is on a three-game streak of home wins, Cobre a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. As for Hatch Valley, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Hot Springs at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Hot Springs knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Hatch Valley likes a good challenge.
