Lincoln will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Pitman in at 5:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Lincoln had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Antioch 32-0.
Meanwhile, Pitman had to kick off their season on the road last Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They steamrollered Napa 55-0.
Their wins bumped Lincoln to 1-0 and Pitman to 1-0. With both Pitman and Lincoln swaggering in after impressive performances, it will be interesting to see which team steps up to teach the other some humility.
