The South Mountain Jaguars''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 35-25 to North. South Mountain lost against North in their previous head to head back in September of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 40-15 score last time.
Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Donovan Norfleet, who picked up 55 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Baqi Taylor was another key contributor, picking up 100 receiving yards and a touchdown.
South Mountain's loss was their fifth straight on the road , which bumped their record down to 2-8. As for North, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season.
South Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North also has no future games currently scheduled.
