Scott County has gone a perfect 4-0 against Grant County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to take on the Braves at 5:30 p.m. Scott County will be strutting in after a victory while Grant County will be coming in after a loss.
Scott County took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Boyle County 4-3.

Meanwhile, Grant County entered their game against Lloyd Memorial on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Braves lost 10-4 to the Juggernauts. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Braves, who until this match were averaging 4.08 runs allowed.

Scott County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Scott County has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Grant County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Scott County's way against Grant County when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Scott County made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
