The North Kissimmee Christian Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 23 points or more this season. They took their game on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 97-39 victory over Liberty Christian Prep. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 65-22.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Kissimmee Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shayne Gabbidon, who scored 22 points. Gabbidon continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Pourchons Morisseau, who scored 11 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for North Kissimmee Christian and bumps their season record up to 13-4. As for Liberty Christian Prep, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
North Kissimmee Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Family Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th. Family Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Liberty Christian Prep, they will be playing at home against HEART HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. HEART HomeSchool presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Liberty Christian Prep in Florida (HEART HomeSchool is ranked 308th, while Liberty Christian Prep is ranked 777th).
