The Bismarck Indians waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They blew past Kingston 60-15 at home. Bismarck has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.
Bismarck's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashley Hawkins, who scored 16 points along with two blocks. Hawkins hasn't dropped below 15 points for six straight games. Alyssa Brake was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Bismarck is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Kingston, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bismarck will take on Arcadia Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Arcadia Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 259 points over their last four contests. As for Kingston, Kingston and Valley will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Valley comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 22 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
