The Wolcott College Prep Wolves lost against the Christ the King Gladiators back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Wolcott College Prep took a serious blow against Christ the King, falling 48-10. While losing is never fun, Wolcott College Prep can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 584th, while Christ the King is ranked 267th).
Wolcott College Prep got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Cynthia Summy and
Margot Kelley, who each put up five points.
Kelsey Castette held things down on the boards with five rebounds. Castette took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Wolcott College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Christ the King, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
Wolcott College Prep will head out on the road to face off against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christ the King, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walther Christian Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Walther Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
