Starting off the list is Patterson's Jeremiah Lugo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lugo rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.

Manteca picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nikko Juarez. Juarez turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
East Union had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Juarez it was a similar story. When Juarez last faced the Lancers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Wes Burford's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Oakdale over Central Catholic
Wes Burford's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his eighth-straight game with 143+ rushing yards. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns.
Burford might have his next game, a road matchup with Sierra, circled on his calendar. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Burford saw the Timberwolves), he rushed for 287 yards and four touchdowns.

Joey Alcutt Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Joey Alcutt of Central Catholic. Alcutt rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Central Catholic's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
Unfortunately for Oakdale, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Alcutt. Alcutt picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.
