After both having extra time off, the Frankford Pioneers and the Samuel Fels Panthers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Frankford's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
Frankford's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Philadelphia Academy Charter. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Keury Perez made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 16 over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jeremy Vega, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI. Christopher Pe?a was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Frankford hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive games.
Samuel Fels couldn't beat Masterman last Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Panthers came up short against Masterman, falling 28-7.
Saul Rodriguez-Perez and Dean Paulino stepped up to the plate in a big way. Rodriguez-Perez went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run, while Paulino went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Deivison Batista, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Frankford's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Samuel Fels, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.
Samuel Fels' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Frankford hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .357. It's a different story for Samuel Fels, though, as they've only averaged .195. Will they be able to contain Frankford's hitters?
Frankford skirted past Samuel Fels 5-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
