 On McGuffey's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sam Stout, who  went 1-for-2 with a  stolen base.
 Mt. Pleasant's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for McGuffey, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record  this season.
