The team also got some help courtesy of  Noah Simmons, who  had eight points plus eight  rebounds and two  steals.
 Carrboro's victory was  their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 1-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 76.3 points per game. As for South Garner, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
