Pope County's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.11 points. As for Gallatin County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.
Pope County will head out on the road to face off against Meridian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Corrin Wilson and Hogg. Gallatin County will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Goreville at 11:30 a.m. on January 13th.
