Gray Collegiate Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 70-31 victory over Gilbert. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Kadence Walker-Lee was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 17 boards. Those 17 rebounds gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Diamond Tatum, who posted 13 points in addition to six boards and six steals.
Gray Collegiate Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 35 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Crestwood earned a 50-42 win over Lakewood on Thursday.
Gray Collegiate Academy better focus on containing Saniya Williams and Javiah Martin as the pair were huge in Crestwood's win. Williams dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds, while Martin put up 16 points. Williams has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. London Vaughn was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Crestwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Gray Collegiate Academy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 34.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Crestwood struggles in that department as they've been averaging 29.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
