This is the second loss in a row for Piedmont and  nudges their season record down to 12-6. As for Castro Valley, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record  this season.
While Piedmont had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
