Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ventura). They blew past the Buena Bulldogs 83-45 on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Ventura got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kayden Hamilton out in front who posted 14 points along with eight assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Hamilton a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Harper Martinez, who made all 7 shots he took to post 17 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks.

Hamilton wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Ventura was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The victory snapped Ventura's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-15 record. As for Buena, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-22.

Ventura wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 67-58 loss against Dos Pueblos on the 5th. Buena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
