The Buchanan Bears will head out on the road to  challenge  the San Luis Obispo Tigers  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Buchanan will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, Buchanan made easy work of Clovis East  and carried off  a  3-0 win.

Meanwhile,  it's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact San Luis Obispo can now relate to. They fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of  3-2 on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 San Luis Obispo wouldn't go down easily and took Clovis West into a fifth set  but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-20, 25-27, 21-25,  15-12.
 Buchanan's victory bumped their record up to 32-8. As for San Luis Obispo, their loss dropped their record down to 27-6.
 Buchanan came up short against San Luis Obispo in their previous matchup  back in September, falling  3-1. Can the Bears avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
