The Wolfe City Wolves had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past Boles 45-7 on the road. Wolfe City's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Wolfe City was led to victory by Carson Herron and Cayden Herron. Herron rushed for 101 yards on only eight carries, while Herron gained 126 total yards and four touchdowns.
Wolfe City's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Boles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Wolfe City will look to defend their home field on Friday against Honey Grove at 7:30 p.m. Honey Grove is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Boles, they will take on Rivercrest at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Rivercrest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five last Friday.
