The Cassville Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Monett Cubs at 6:00 p.m. Monett took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cassville, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Cassville narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 46-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cassville.
Meanwhile, Monett was the victim of a tough 66-45 loss at the hands of the Mustangs on Thursday. Monett has not had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Cassville's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Monett, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
Cassville came up short against the Cubs in their previous meeting back in January, falling 52-46. Can Cassville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
