When it comes to explaining why Washougal lost, one person who can't be blamed is Mather Minnis. Despite the final result, he scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Darling, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
Washougal's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Camas, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
