McKay scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 89-70 to the Lake Oswego Lakers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (61), the Royal Scots still had to take the loss.

McKay now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Lake Oswego, their win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKay will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Eagle Point at 4:00 p.m. on December 30th. One thing working in Eagle Point's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Lake Oswego, they will take on Scappoose in a tournament on Friday.
