Baseball Recap: Wilson Has No Trouble Against Konawa

While Wilson put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Konawa. Wilson was the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over Konawa. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Wilson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. Konawa's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.

Coming up, Wilson will head out on the road to square off against Healdton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Konawa, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Stratford at 6:30 p.m.
