Basketball Recap: South Aiken Baptist Christian's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak at Home

There's no place like home for South Aiken Baptist Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They strolled past the Grace Christian Lions with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 67-52. The victory was some much needed relief for the CRUSADERS as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

South Aiken Baptist Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sam Terlizzi, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 20 points and eight rebounds. With that strong performance, Terlizzi is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game. Hunter Dennis was another key player, putting up 23 points and three steals.

South Aiken Baptist Christian's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Grace Christian, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

South Aiken Baptist Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mead Hall Episcopal School at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
