Luke Ortiz was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Josh ullegue, who scored 15 points.
Despite the loss, Pacifica still got an impressive performance from Richard Miranda, who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miranda has scored all season. Isaiah Dillon was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven assists.
Pacifica struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Buena pulled down 15 offensive rebounds.
Buena is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Pacifica, they bumped their record down to 7-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.
