Morgan Made His Presence Known in Boron's  26-16 Win
 Starting off the list is Boron's  Isaiah Morgan, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Morgan rushed for 148 yards.
 Boron's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-4. Morgan and Boron will play host again  on Friday to welcome California City, where kickoff is scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.

Andrew Gartica's Big Game Leads Boron over Rosamond
 Keeping Morgan company is  Andrew Gartica, a fellow Boron player. He picked up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Gartica might just drop another big game when he faces off against California City on Friday. Gartica rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards the last time he and the Ravens duked it out  back in October of 2023.

Bishop Union Wins Fourth-Straight Thanks to  Emory Dondero
  Emory Dondero was instrumental in extending Bishop Union's winning streak to four on Friday. Nobody could stop  Dondero as he rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 112 yards and two touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.
 Bishop Union pushed their record up to 6-2 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Dondero and Bishop Union will welcome Kern Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Carver Posts Huge Game in  21-6  Victory
  Zane Carver was instrumental in extending Kern Valley's winning streak to three on Friday. Nobody could stop  Carver as he rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 53 yards and a touchdown.
 On the year,  Carver  has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 74.8 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year,  he had two  rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to five.

Carson Parks Goes Supernova in Kern Valley Victory
  Carson Parks posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown.
 On the year,  Parks  has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 70.7 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 0.43  rushing yards per game.
