Several Thoroughbreds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Myracle Culbreath, who posted five points and eight boards. Culbreath is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tekinia Dixon, who scored five points and seven boards.
Even though they lost, South Aiken smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.
Gray Collegiate Academy can attribute much of their success to Diamond Tatum, who had 14 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Tatum a new career-high in points.
