Hubbard hadn't done well against Curie recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. Hubbard had a senior duo take command as  Debora Lopez  had 15  digs and six  aces and  Madeline Morales  had 22  digs and two  aces. Those 15  digs set a new season-high mark for  Lopez.
 Hubbard  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 16  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces every time they've taken the court this season.
Hubbard's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Curie,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 4-3 record.
