Karmacharya  went 3-for-5 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double, while  McCarty  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Karmacharya also put up an  RBI, which was her first of the season.  Angel Velazquez was another key player,  going 2-for-5 with three  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Wheeler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-23. As for McEachern, they moved to 8-13 with that  victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
