Cathedral Catholic's victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-2. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.3 points on average over those games. As for San Marcos, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record  this season.
 Cathedral Catholic will host Mission Bay  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for San Marcos, they will take on Poway at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. The two teams have allowed few  points on average (the Knights 12.3, the Titans 7.7) so any  points scored will be well earned.
