Estero and Naples are an even 5-5 against one another  since March of 2016, but likely not for long.  Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Naples, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  on Saturday. They never let Neumann onto the board and left with  an   8-0  win  on Tuesday.
  Kathryn Hanypsiak was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Mary Mcmullin, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Estero's defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-6. As for Naples,  the  victory  got them back to even at 11-11.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Estero has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 3.1  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Naples struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 2.7. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Estero couldn't quite finish off Naples in their previous meeting  back in May of 2021 and fell  5-3. Thankfully for Estero,  Macy Miles (who   tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits) won't be suiting up this time.
