Owendale-Gagetown extended their losing streak  to five  on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-6-1 in the process. They lost  25-9 to the Kingston Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the  15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2024.
As for Kingston, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 For Kingston's part, they got a  massive  performance out of  Madison Wylie, who  went 3-for-5 with four  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. Those  four  runs gave  Wylie a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Piper St. George, who  got on base  in five of her six plate appearances with five  runs and two  RBI.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Owendale-Gagetown will take on Carsonville-Port Sanilac at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Kingston, they will challenge Bad Axe at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
