TERRA Environmental's's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Mater Academy Charter Lions at 3:30 p.m. on December 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (TERRA Environmental is ranked 387th, while Mater Academy Charter is ranked 372nd).
Last Wednesday, TERRA Environmental lost to Braddock on the road by a decisive 56-42 margin.
Shannon Greene put forth a good effort for the losing side as she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds. She set a new season high mark in blocks with five. Another player making a difference was Francesca Rodriguez, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Mater Academy Charter fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They breezed by Divine Savior Academy on the road to the tune of 49-12.
TERRA Environmental now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mater Academy Charter, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.
Everything came up roses for TERRA Environmental against Mater Academy Charter in their previous meeting back in January of 2020 as the team secured a 54-23 win. With TERRA Environmental ahead 36-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
