 Waunakee was led to victory by  Amy Denkert and  Kaia Schroeder.  Denkert  had nine assists and two  aces, while  Schroeder  had seven  digs. That's the most  aces  Denkert has posted  over her last six  matchups.  Ava Puls also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  kill of the season.
West Bend West's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Waunakee, the  win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.
 West Bend West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  victory against Westosha Central on the 13th. As for Waunakee, they have also already played their next game,  a  2-0  win against Catholic Memorial on the 13th.
