Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lorenzo). They claimed a resounding 75-8 victory over the Wilson Mustangs. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Lorenzo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Marilina Lopez led the charge by going 7 for 11 on her way to 14 points and three steals. Lopez has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Andreya Lopez was another key player, going 5 of 6 en route to 10 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Lorenzo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Lorenzo's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Wilson, they dropped their record down to 0-18 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lorenzo will take on O'Donnell at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. O'Donnell will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Lorenzo surely won't give up without a fight. Wilson has already played their next contest (against Crosbyton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
