Beckville waltzed into their contest on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They put the hurt on the Harleton Wildcats with a sharp 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won 18 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.
Emily Grandgeorge made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk). She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. Those five hits gave her a new career-high.
