 Hudson Ford and  Aliya Atcitty did most of the damage at the plate:  Ford  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while  Atcitty  went 1-for-3 with one  home run. Those  two  stolen bases gave  Ford a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maylee Walston, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Skyridge  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in four consecutive  games.
Skyridge's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for American Fork,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-6.
 Looking ahead, Skyridge will be playing at home against Lehi  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for American Fork, they will square off against Gunnison Valley at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
