Florida high school softball is shaking up the MaxPreps Top 25 rankings.
Senior
Hannah Marien continues to prove she is one of the top pitchers in the state. She pitched 10 scoreless innings during the two games and is a huge reason Lake Brantley lands at No. 7.
Parrish Community (Parrish, Fla.) is also a new Sunshine State team to join the MaxPreps Top 25. Sophomore
Alex Call is one of several young talented players on the Lady Bulls roster. They have a big game on Tuesday hosting Lakewood Ranch.
Bend (Ore.) continues to show it's a team to keep an eye on. Sophomore sensation
Addisen Fisher is one of the top pitchers in the country. A member of the 2021 Underclass MaxPreps All-America team, she's approaching 200 strikeouts in 89 innings. The Lava Bears sit at No. 22 after an 8-0 start.
Results and games played are key factors for determining the MaxPreps Top 25 softball rankings and movement throughout the season. No team who has yet to play a game will move down or up from their preseason ranking until they hit the dirt.
Teams that do not enter results and statistical information to MaxPreps make forming the rankings and highlighting players much more difficult.

Lake Brantley has moved into the MaxPreps Top 25 softball rankings after back-to-back wins over former No. 3 Lakewood Ranch.
