Much of the game will come down to the health of Milton, a five-star running back headed to Georgia. His bruised thigh has kept him out of four games for the Bears (3-2). Central (5-0) is led by Silva, who has passed for 1,027 yards, 16 touchdowns and one interception. Four receivers, led by Worthy, have caught between 15 and 17 passes.

This might be the last legitimate chance for someone to knock off Folsom before the Sac-Joaquin Section playoff title game. Rocklin (5-1) has had strong offensive play from Watts (58 of 91, 712 yards, five TDs) and the combined running of Oharran and Douglas. Folsom has won the last six straight between the to teams, including 48-0 last season.

It seems like De La Salle's almost ridiculous 303-game unbeaten streak against Northern California opponents will never end. Monte Vista (5-1), which defeated De La Salle 14-13 in the 1987 North Coast Section title game, has one of its best teams in years. They have the skill players to stay competitive, but line play will be the key for the Mustangs. De La Salle, ranked 12th nationally, is 5-1.

Another big Trinity League opener, with JSerra (4-1) a little more battle tested with wins over East (Salt Lake City, Utah), 24-14, Bishop Amat (38-14), Milton (Ga.), 17-14, and Calabasas (31-20). Street leads the Lions with 416 yards rushing and five touchdowns. Booty has accounted for 825 yards and four scores. Santa Margarita (3-2) played fifth-ranked Mission Viejo very tough, before losing 21-10.

Chaparral is on bubble of the Top 25 rankings and could all but climb in with a win. Murrieta Valley (5-0) averages better than 50 points per game largely because of Rose, only a sophomore, who has completed 78 of 110 for 1,218 yards, 15 touchdowns and one interceptions. He's also rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns. These teams have played 15 times since 2003, with Murrieta Valley winning eight, including a 51-16 game last season. White and Majel have combined for 13 rushing touchdowns in 2019.

Tesoro (6-0) is also on the Top 25 bubble after outscoring foes 247-50 thus far. Lindgren has completed 95 of 147 for 1,221 yards and 18 touchdowns with just two interceptions. The Titans offer great balance with Wran, who has rushed for 810 yards and eight touchdowns. San Clemente (5-1) is coming in off a 42-21 loss to No. 14 Corona del Mar.

This is the first East Bay Athletic League game for Clayton Valley Charter (4-1), which was forced into the league in late spring. The Eagles might have a chip on its shoulder against the unbeaten Grizzlies (5-0), which likely will need more offense Friday to outscore the Eagles.
