Stanford pledge helps Wolverines put 100 on the board in front of famous QB brother and Ciara.

Under head coach Leah Krautter, Bellevue (Wash.) has emerged as a girls basketball powerhouse in recent years, winning 20 or more games in each of the past three seasons.

But — thanks to a big addition — the Wolverines look to be taking things to a new level in 2015-16.

Anna Wilson, sister of Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, moved to the area to be closer to her famous brother over the summer and enrolled at Bellevue, which is overwhelming opponents early on.

Casey Littlejohn of MaxPreps was on hand Wednesday night as Wilson and teammates improved to 3-0 with a 104-56 win over Juanita (Kirkland). The Wolverines put up totals of 92 and 87 in their first two outings, respectively.

Anna, a 5-foot-8 senior point guard, had played at Collegiate (Richmond, Va.) since the eighth grade. She is committed to Stanford.

The future Cardinal helped USA Basketball win a gold medal at the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship in the Czech Republic.

Under Krautter, Bellevue went 24-5 a year ago and reached the Class 3A state semifinals.
