The fourth round of the UIL's 11-man state football playoffs can be dubbed the "Rematch Round.''
Eight games in this weekend's state quarterfinal round pit teams from the same district that have already met in the regular season.
Three of the rematches are in Class 6A. In Division I, District 21-6A foes North Shore and Atascocita collide for the Region III title.
Meanwhile, District 25 rivals Lake Travis and Westlake will meet for a second time for the Region IV crown.
In Division II, 6A neighbors DeSoto and Cedar Hill from District 7 will face off for a second time in the Region I title game.
The other rematches:
Class 5A: Aledo vs. Boswell in Division II (District 6).
Class 4A: La Vega vs. China Spring in Division I (District 13); Seminole vs. Sweetwater in Division II (District 2).
Class 3A: Hallettesville vs. Yoakum in Division I (District 14).
Class 2A: De Leon vs. Crawford in Division I (District 7).
One district, 7-6A, still has three teams alive in the playoffs. Duncanville in Division I joins DeSoto and Cedar Hill.
