The Matadors and Lanier were tied at 68 with 10 seconds left and a trip to the second round of the Texas state playoffs on the line.
The senior guard somehow stole the ball just beyond half court in the bi-district matchup and drained a game-winning prayer at the buzzer to send the crowd into a frenzy with a 71-68 miraculous victory.
Garcia's heroic play landed him the No. 10 spot on SportsCenter and helped his team move to 17-13. Seguin will face Angleton in the regional quarterfinals next.
