Paul VI (13-4) had three scorers in double figures, led by
Trevor Keels with 18 points,
Knasir McDaniel added 13 points and
Jeremy Roach contributed 12 points and nine rebounds.
The Warriors used a stifling defensive effort to take home the win, holding Paul VI to 22-of-62 from the field and 5-of-20 from 3-point range. Oak Hill was in control throughout, leading the final 24 minutes of action.
Both teams travel to the Spalding Hoophall Classic for big-time national showdowns on Monday as Oak Hill Academy faces off against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), while Paul VI takes on No. 14 Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) with both games being streamed live on ESPNU.
