Elizabeth Miler has been named player of the year. "Elizabeth Miler in my opinion is the not only the best player in the state, but also the most valuable player of any person on any team in the state. She has led our team in every offensive and defensive category the past two years, and has been selected as an SC CAWS All State nominee the past 4 years. She has been the High School Sports Report Freshman statewide player of the year, the sophomore statewide player of the year, and last year she was the AAAA co-player of the year for South Carolina. She is a 4 time All Region selection and the 3 time region player of the year. She is a finalist for the Gatorade Player of the Year, and she is not only the maxpreps.com leader in kills and hitting in South Carolina, but in the top 10 in the nation. She is very versatile, highly skilled, and can play any position. In fact, she would be a better setter than a hitter. She is a former Super Sophomore and All American nominee for prepvolleyball.com However, her best attributes are her unselfish play, her great team work mentality, her wonderful sense of humility, and her encouragement and praise for her teammates. She is such such a delight, a true one in a lifetime player that makes such a positive impact on the overall program at a school. She is the player of the year! "
